Review on Enhancing Water Purity: GE FXSCH General Electric Filter - Top Quality Filtration Solution by John Pound

I have been using a GE shower water filtration system for a few years now. I recently purchased six FXSCH filters for $9.99 each for our use and for relatives who use this product. They should be changed every six months. There are a couple of issues with this filter. First, the product only has a limited warranty of 30 days from the date of purchase. Too many of these products arrive defective. When unpacking and unpacking, turning over, the filter sand either spilled out or was washed onto the shower floor during installation. Apparently this can happen if the items received have been on the retailer's shelf for more than 30 days. Don't order more than one unless you expect at least one to be defective and hope at least one will be good. We have just found three filters bought a year ago, all in poor condition. Additionally, GE's customer service is understaffed and the wait time on the phone is likely more than 20-30 minutes. We are planning to switch to another brand.
