Review on Griots Garage BMF3 BOSS Microfiber by Kevin Wilkins

A good pad that worked well

Excellent MF pad. Goes well with Boss Fast Correcting Cream. I got a finish that looked good after using this combination. After that I used a Lake Country polish and a white flat pad - not sure if that made much of a difference. Two cars so far and these pads are excellent. A few tips to increase durability: 1. Clean on the go. Start the machine by pressing the pad against the terry cloth. To act with caution! Turn the machine to low speed. You want vibration without rotation. If it spins and wraps the towel around the shaft, you can easily damage the polisher or injure yourself. After doing two 2 x 2 foot sections, I cleaned my mat and couldn't believe the amount of dirt that had come off it.2. Brush them after each 2x2 foot section. This pad quickly straightens up and stops cutting. Keep it loose with a brush. Some people use compressed air, but I haven't tried it.3. Don't apply too much product. I used three large drops (more than a pea, less than a dime) for the first part and two after that (this is with the Fast Correcting Cream). It worked well. Immediately afterwards I cleaned and rinsed the pads with pad cleaner. They dry for a long time - most of the water after rinsing can be squeezed out, but watch out for the noose - it crawls everywhere. They still look like new. Slight material abrasion in the hole. The rest is excellent. I would consider having at least 4 of these for a mid range car. Six might be better if you don't want to clean them on the go.
