This would have been another basic "sure it works" review, except I got a free version that looked similar but failed miserably. In comparison, this ball head actually snaps into place without scratching the ball. It holds the weight and can pivot (though without braking resistance). Small, it's definitely not for larger items, but my phone is slightly skewed in profile for my IG life. My favorite feature is that tightening the ball doesn't dent the ball, so the movement remains smooth after a few extra turns for stability. Honestly, I keep wondering why I didn't buy a few more to mount and place my mic and monitor side by side. Works great on my small setup.
