Looking at the picture of this item I thought it looked cheap (and didn't like the colors). However, I ordered it because it had good reviews and I needed something to get the fabric under the sewing foot further than my finger could go. I was pleasantly surprised by this stiletto. It's high quality (NOT cheap and plasticky as it seems). The handle is very ergonomic, very comfortable to use (very solid to the touch) and works as advertised. I highly recommend it. It's well worth the money and extremely useful (despite its looks!). :) UPDATE: I downgraded my rating because the red plastic covering the point is worn out and leaves an open point at the end. This made it sharper and now no longer works when trying to press corners while sewing. Instead of poking through the fabric, the open metal end now pierces the fabric. I am disappointed that this happened as the article is not that useful now. However, it still works well for guiding the fabric under the presser foot.
