I am way happier with these yarn storage hangars than I thought. They have a great velcro for hanging on a regular clothes rail or anything up to a few inches in diameter. They are lightweight and hold about 9 regular skeins of yarn. With regular cabinet height, they still leave me about 2 feet of free floor space to put boxes underneath. It was easy to load the yarn and I love looking at them and seeing the colors I have. Even if your knitting friends already keep their yarn in baskets, one of these would make a great gift for specialty yarn or leftovers. I have two of these and just love them. They aren't closed, so if you have yarn that's prone to insects, they won't work.
