Review on GasTapper Fuel Transfer Pump Siphon by Leroy Stanton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality pump for small siphon jobs

I used this siphon over the weekend to drain my snow blower and generator which both had quite a bit of gas left over from a harsh New England winter. After draining both completely, I came up with a few pros and cons. PROS* well built, quality construction* performs well no matter how much fuel needs to be pumped. "Shaker" style siphons take a few inches of gas to get these siphons to work *completely drained - I drained so much gas I couldn't start a car because the tanks were practically dry *Fuel filter - on Must have for every gas siphon. This filter is removable for water-based liquids. *The end of the source is thin enough to fit into a car gas filler neck, many other siphons cannot. So if you have enough gas or liquid to transfer, you need a gravity model like the GasTapper(TM) gravity model - Gasoline siphon pump for transferring liquids 18" fuel hose and advanced car adapter - Made in the USA - View all 5 models by clicking in Search for "GENTAP" in the Revain search bar. There's also a Hopkins 10801 FloTool Shaker Siphon with 6ft of anti-static hose that has great reviews from people pumping tons of gas with it, but it doesn't have a fuel filter. year I have to let the gas off (at the end of winter and summer) which is ideal. I haven't had any leaks or drips - this is a well made product. If I was pumping more gas I would use the gravity version of this pump mentioned above.
