great! They're great for chopping all types of boneless meat - roast pork, chicken breasts, etc. It's a lot easier than using two forks or a fork and knife. I don't have many "wonderful" tools in my tiny kitchen, but they're so good at what they do, we don't mind that they're only good for one thing: ground beef. They are durable and dishwasher safe. A set was in our White Elephant Christmas Gift Exchange and they were one of the most controversial gifts. They will definitely be a good gift for dad or gift exchange.
