Review on 7 Inch Mesh Frying Basket by Scandicrafts by Jen Linares

I don't fry very often, but I need an easy way to fry a small amount of food once in a while. Bread dough in a bucket makes amazing donuts when fried in oil and I may want to make puppies or pancakes from time to time. I could easily use it to fry fish or shrimp for 2 or 3 people. The basket itself is stronger than I expected for the money. It fits perfectly in my heavy 2 liter stainless steel pot, so I don't have to use a lot of oil for occasional frying. Even if I have to fry food in small batches and keep the oven warm, using a smaller basket means less oil to dispose of later. Freezing or canning and much more besides frying. I am very happy with this item.
