Review on CPU cooler Deepcool GAMMAXX S40, black by Bogdan Atanasov ᠌
I like everything, the quality is good and the price is reasonable.
The lack of a backplate is depressing. Still, 600 grams, and if AMD has them mounted on fairly durable plastic, then the mounts for Intel sockets are made in the form of standard clips, like in boxed coolers. Only now the box does not weigh 600 grams. Is it really that hard to make a little piece of iron? Well, it would cost 200 more, so what? But there would be a strong mount to the motherboard
Pros
- Really quiet. With my Atlon II X3 460, the rpm never rose to 1000. At the same time, the idle temperature is about 30, and 55-57 under load.
Cons
- No backplate.
