Saves a costly towing and a trip to the mechanic

Used car was purchased with thin metal cap nuts overtightened. After unsuccessfully using a four-sided hand wrench and then a percussion gun, which worked for half the lug nuts but rounded off a few others, this set, combined with a brake rod and 4-foot tube extension, did the trick. Plastic bushings protected the aluminum wheels from scratches. Note that this kit will likely destroy your nuts and will require a vise or other methods to remove the removed nuts from the socket itself, but this is acceptable.
