💪 Efficiently Remove Damaged Lug Nuts with Astro Pneumatic Tool 7404 Flank Bite Socket Set & Protective Sleeves Review

Okay first let me say I've never needed a stud removal tool. I just bought this incase. Here we are working on the F-350 a month and a half later and I shot 2. This amazing rosette grabbed that edge and just pulled it out. So happy with my purchase.

Used 17mm on the first stripped nut/bolt and it worked great. Used it on a second nut/bolt with the lug removed and it didn't remove the bolt, just spun freely and didn't catch at all. Not sure if it'll wear off after just one use or if it's just not that good to start with.

Works like a charm! Very happy with this tool. The dealer overtightened my nuts and one broke when I tried to remove it. However, this tool is easy to slide in and out. I used the breaker and the jack handle as leverage, I was a little worried it would break the socket but it went like a champ.

The sockets were beaten but the 19mm was able to remove over 15 nuts that I didn't have a wrench for. The white sleeve was very frayed and I ended up cutting it off. The hardest part was unscrewing the nut to reuse the socket, but I just banged them against a pole and they eventually came out. The bushings hardly damaged the nuts, only small grooves.

Used car was purchased with thin metal cap nuts overtightened. After unsuccessfully using a four-sided hand wrench and then a percussion gun, which worked for half the lug nuts but rounded off a few others, this set, combined with a brake rod and 4-foot tube extension, did the trick. Plastic bushings protected the aluminum wheels from scratches. I needed A 20mm for the wheel locks on my Hyundai because the "mechanic" didn't put the lock bag back in the car when I changed my tires in December.
