My husband was pleased with the overall quality of the product. We received this item on 06/21/21 and it was installed on 08/21/2018. For the past 24 days I have smelled this terribly strong odor. The first day we searched our home to see if anything electrical was on fire. It was over 3 weeks ago and we noticed an odor coming into our house when the air conditioning was turned on. I've had recurring headaches and I'm not the type of person who gets frequent headaches. I am trying to get my husband to return this terrible product as his sense of smell is not as good as mine. Looking through the reviews, I noticed 3 buyers who described the lingering smell as "glue-like" (we're talking airplane/model glue here), "electrical fire" (that's also our description), and "chemical smell". " described. I agree with all of these descriptions. I asked my husband to remove it so our house could smell fresh air again. The only alternative is not to use our air conditioning, which is a real problem on 105 degree days! I'm confused and confused that more people haven't noticed. The dates for other fragrance ratings I found are 7-3-21, 6-5-21, 4-24-21 and 2-23-15 and now you have our 8-24-21. This has to be studied!
