Not quite like other felt books

The front cover best describes this book. This is unlike any other felting book that is filled with silly and immature projects detailing all the different methods (wet and dry) of felting. Here the focus is on a different technique using only wool felt. I was curious to know how she created the shading which is why I bought the book. I also wanted projects that didn't just focus on felted flowers etc. for children's hats, slippers and small handbags. I was disappointed that the book was quite expensive for the amount of content. Photos are not high quality (rather grainy), but adequate. There were a few spelling and editorial errors that did not affect the usefulness of the book, but still needed to be corrected before going to press. The instructions are well written and easy to understand. For those weavers who own felt (decoration) machines, the appendices contained in this book will certainly be useful. However, the book is NOT intended for those who are into hand felting.
