I have had an Accu-Gage for years and it recently dropped and broke. So I bought a new one with a protective rubber cover and then decided to buy a second one for our other car. I traced a slow leak and got a reading that there was no air loss for several days, then used a different gauge and got a reading 3lbs lower (really showing I was leaking anyway). I then measured the air in all of my tires and found that two NEW Accu-Gage gauges showed a 3 lb difference. This is very frustrating and makes it impossible to inflate my tires to the desired weight. I bought a third one and it's still Β£1 lighter than either of the other two I bought. I had another AccuGage for years and argued with my dealer that they were over inflating my tires. And I got decent but not great mileage on these tires (and measured and primed the tire pump every 2 hours with my own mini generator). -3 weeks). I now believe that the calibration was probably inaccurate as well.
