Review on Bahco 31 US Alligator Adjustable by Anthony Hales

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fell in love with a thin Swedish

. The steel is very hard, so there are no dents or dents on the jaws. This results in a very smooth, flat contact surface with the screw head, which reduces slipping or rolling of the screw head. The adjustment wrench threads are not as thin as those on Milwakee adjustable wrenches, but the adjustable jaw does not suffer from excessive play. The end of the alligator is amazing. It's a hell you tear off solution for rusty or rounded heads/studs. I even banged the alligator with a hammer to take a bite and make a purchase. YRMV. Next best to oxy-acetylene. In addition, the wrench's cross section is thin, 1/2 inch at its widest point, and the jaws open 1 5/16 inches wider than most adjustable wrenches of a similar length (8 3/16 inches at the longest axis).

Pros
  • . High marks for grip and durability from testers.
Cons
  • . Negative gift.
