I bought this turntable to play 78 RPM records to start selling my huge collection. I wanted to make sure the turntable was working, so I tested one of my records at 33rpm. I tried to lower my arm the way it was supposed to, but it slipped out of my hand and rolled across the record, which is Fleetwood Mac's "Tango In The Night" and is now ruined by that piece of junk. Before that, my Fleetwood Mac collection was in excellent condition. Every player for the general public should be fully automatic. The description did not state that the tonearm was manually operated, although it should have been. I still need a 78rpm turntable and I will make sure it has an automatic arm.
