Review on πŸ” Precision Sliding T Bevel: 8 Blade for Accurate Angles by Bob Walters

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good locking mechanism

I like the blade locking mechanism. The tapered wing nut is often in the way and I can never tighten it enough to really secure the blade. The Shinwa blade is all stamped steel, not machined. As a result, the edges of the blade are deburred from stamping and are not quite square. to the blade surface. This may not be a problem for a building frame, but it may be a problem for precision woodworking or machining. For the price, it should have machine ground or routed edges.Others have mentioned that the blade slot is too wide and sloppy, but it could be improved to work well.
