So. I needed thread and needles to start the project and this seemed like an easy choice. Young. was. I'm wrong The ONLY good thing about it is that it has a decent case that can hold some of my sewing supplies. The thread is useless and keeps breaking when you try to thread the needle. The needles will break in half if you try to use them on a project where you will be sewing for more than 20 minutes at a time (I'm a bead embroiderer and have already broken 6). Auxiliary threads do not even fit in one of the needles. The nipples are blunt and this will grind up the floss (better to just buy a decent pair of nipples from a craft store and throw them away). You can keep the cards that the floss is on, but fill them with a higher quality thread. bad idea. It's thick, holds its shape, and the clips are pretty hard to remove (especially if you have arthritis). But if you want this because you need thread and needles for a project, look elsewhere because it's not worth the money I spent on it. I used half of 4 thread cards to get a thread. Put a thread on a needle and NONE of them will stay together without ONE THREAD BREAKING FROM THE THREAD. Why sell in bulk when you'll end up spending half your money on one project? Overall 3 stars for the thickness of the hull. This is the ONLY reason it got 3 stars for value. Thing is, it's a good body. Otherwise I would give 0 stars if I could. Because it's an absolutely smoky heap of cheap crap wrapped in pretty packaging.
