Waterproof but not waterproof
Good product, especially for the price. This works just as well as beer/brewery thermometers. They are waterproof as advertised. I recently used one in a water bath to lower the temperature and the thermometer went bad. Nothing against the product as it doesn't stand out as water resistant, just a warning that durability will depend on both functionality and possibly the quality of the adhesive.
