Works stably in a home network together with ASUS DSL-N12U in "Range Extender Mode 1" (default setting). For several months of operation, no freezes and other problems with the network were noticed. . Really increased the coverage area in the apartment. Earlier in the evening, WiFi regularly "fell off" on the ultrabook in the room most remote from the router, in the kitchen, in general, some devices were out (4 walls in a straight line from the router). Now everything is great. Theoretically, the speed should be lower, but in my case, the connection became stable and the WiFi speed increased in problem areas. The LEDs are really bright. But does anyone forbid turning off the gadget at night? Reconfiguration is not required. For some, it will be more difficult to place a relatively large device in an outlet than a compact power supply. I had to install an additional outlet in the corridor, which I stuck with double-sided tape on the side wall of the shoe rack (higher, as the manufacturer recommends) The exterior was not damaged :-) Reviews and some reviews mention a barely noticeable "squeak" when the device is running. This is not observed in mine. Perhaps you were lucky with a copy, or the manufacturer brought it to mind.
