Some minor design flaws but a really useful bag

I've ordered two different yarn bags to see which one suits me best and I always have a few projects on hand to keep the Task done would be easier. to keep them organized and easy to grab when I wanted to crochet on the go. This one was my favourite. This bag is a really good size. There are zipped pockets for a pattern or book as well as all the essentials like hooks/needles and scissors. There are 3 zippered pockets on the top where you can put yarn. One of the pictures shows that I currently have 3 balls of Red Heart Super Saver (medium size jumbo). I could probably squeeze 2 or 3 more strands into these bags if I really had to, but it would be tight. Since I had already started my project and didn't want to cut my yarn, I went ahead and put the skeins through the back of the zipper where you store your project (see picture) so all the yarn is in the pocket. There are several reasons I will continue to do this instead of threading the yarn through the grommets. First, poorly placed Velcro under the grommets. Velcro and yarn don't go well together in my experience. It pulls on it and can cause tears and lint (which I remembered accidentally putting my project on the bag for a few minutes), and since you can't close the velcro all the way, this is a design flaw. in my thoughts. I'll try to at least cut off the exposed velcro. Second, when you thread the yarn through the grommets, it means What are you? They will zip to keep your project in your bag. Not a big problem, but I can see it getting stuck in the zipper, yarn snagging on something, or little hands happily pulling all the yarn out of the hole. Overall it's a pretty good bag and I would recommend it. but I can see it getting stuck in the zipper, yarn snagging on something, or little hands happily pulling all the yarn out of the hole.
