Review on 🔧 TEKTON 5547: Powerful 4 Ton Dual Gear Power Puller for Effective Lifting and Towing by Tim Thornton

Terrible quality. Do not buy. I wish I had kept the packaging, would have gone straight back. I've had pretty good luck with other Tekton products so I was surprised at how poor the design and difficult to use of this product is. Cheap metal construction with a chrome finish. The mechanism for toggling between ratchet and release is a small stamped lever and spring that almost doesn't work and is sure to slow down. There is a sheet metal spring working against the coiled cable which I think should help with coiling, but all it does is pinch the cable and it takes two people and a screwdriver to disengage. I consider this tool dangerous, poorly designed to the point of uselessness, and a colossal waste of money.
