As "Picard321" noted, the C-clamps that hold most of the carrier pins looked pretty dangerous, so I followed his advice. I received: 3 x 3/8" 2 x 7/16" grade 5 screws to replace the pins. I would deduct a star for that. Serious injury could result if one of these clips breaks and the pin comes loose under load. I used this to pull an old farm trailer out of the mud and bushes. I've had a few breakdowns over the years, this is the heaviest I've ever had for its rating. Haven't used it yet, but I'll edit this review when I do.
