Revain only sells that so I don't blame them for not knowing. The original Chinese manufacturer fraudulently claims in both the promotional text and packaging that the device has "all gears and levers (pawls) made of steel." They're not made of steel! They are made of sintered die-cast zinc or zinc-aluminum alloy and are NOT SAFE at rated load! We tested them for steel content with high-strength neodymium magnets even before we unpacked the device. Every time I see "sprue marks" from the injection molding and chrome plating so thick that they obscure almost all surface detail. I suspect the part is not what it appears to be. And it's not! I'm sure not even the US dealer knows. Only Chinese manufacturers know that they deliberately replaced inferior and unsafe components. But someone has to inform the dealer. DO NOT buy any of these if you want to keep your limbs intact!
