Review on 🔧 TEKTON 5547: Powerful 4 Ton Dual Gear Power Puller for Effective Lifting and Towing by Chuck Chen

I eventually broke down and bought one of these for the jeep so if we ever get stuck on a trail alone we can get out on our own. Now I can't afford an electric winch. All reviews were correct in that this thing needs to be oiled/lubricated before being used. I struggled to pull the cord out of the box. After oiling it, pulling it all the way out, and cranking it back many times, it's finally where I want it and moves quite easily. I personally don't complain about the thumb stud as most complain as long as it holds and doesn't break. The only other issue, and a really important one, is that the pulley has too much space between the actual pulley and the housing. Once after I twisted it together the cable got stuck on the outside of the reel in the frame and I had a hell of a time trying to get it back. Looks solid and overall I'm very happy with it.
