It's cheap and good. It also comes with a soft case. I really can't complain. Yes, to read the compass I have to tilt my head a bit and lower my eyes to see the compass. I don't mind. I really need to do some mental math to use the range finder. But it's easy enough. To be honest I have never tried high end binoculars. So I can't compare this one with these high end products. All I can say is that it fits my budget and I expect it to work well next spring when the weather is nice and I can start using my boat (I wrote this in the middle of a particularly snowy winter).
