It's rated for 100 meters but I mean who expects it to actually work that far? I parked one in the garage about 150 feet from my house plus the distance to the back of the house where the base station was. Now let's add that the signal goes through the brick wall of the garage and the walls of the house. That works great. I highly doubted it would work, but it works. The other two sensors are much closer, so it's less impressive. They also work well with 1.2V NiMH batteries (although I used 1.5V alkaline batteries for the secondary sensor, I didn't test them at the lower voltage).
