My husband got this for me for Christmas so I didn't get to use it very much. But what struck me immediately was that the blade would not stay closed when hanging from the hole in the handle. As I will only be using it to hang in the shed I did not send it back straight away. I'll update my post later in spring when I get a chance to use it in my garden. Update 03-06: After I posted my review above, the seller contacted me. He explained that the screw in the hinge area of the blade could be adjusted and that should solve my problem. If not, they will be happy to send me a new saw. Today was a great sunny day here in PNW so I went to work in the yard and YES tightening the screw just a little solved my problem. (insert DUH moment here :) I also used the saw for a bit and I'm happy to say the saw worked great. I am a woman in my fifties and was able to cut branches from 2 1/2 to 3 inches with no problem. If anything, I'll probably need my husband's help, but that's more due to my weak wrists. Service, ease of use and the fact that the blade stays closed :) Upgraded to 5 stars.
