Not optimal for caps

According to this site this cap should fit a 2005 Jeep Liberty 2.4L. It is not. Otherwise it looks like a normal product. I ordered a Gates 31836 which this site says "doesn't fit yours". but according to Gates it does. I do not suggest using this site to find parts for this car as it is also wrong on oil filters.
