Trigger Check Engine Light

It does not work. The Check Engine light stays on. Put the original back in and see if the engine light hasn't come on since.

Not suitable for gas cap

This gas cap is not suitable. My jeep check engine light came on because that gas cap is not for a jeep wrangler. Market for another gas cap.

Called Check Engine Light

Installed on a 2009 Dodge Dakota Longhorn 4x4. Engine check code called E0404. Put the original gas cap back on and the code will be erased.

Not optimal for cap

This gas cap does not work. My check engine light on my Jeep came on and wouldn't go out because that gas cap isn't for a Jeep Wrangler. So I'm looking for a different gas cap.

It locks well but the gas cap sensor works

The cap works well, that means it locks and that's why they took it. However the gas cap sensor does trip, I was thinking of only using it at night when I can't keep an eye on my car and replacing it again in the morning.

Not optimal for caps

According to this site this cap should fit a 2005 Jeep Liberty 2.4L. It is not. Otherwise it looks like a normal product. I ordered a Gates 31836 which this site says "doesn't fit yours". but according to Gates it does. I do not suggest using this site to find parts for this car as it is also wrong on oil filters.
