Review on Bonavita Connoisseur BV1901TS: Premium 8-Cup One-Touch Stainless Steel Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe and Hanging Filter Basket by Shane Ryder

Bought a few weeks ago. This is a nice coffee maker, but here are my issues with it. When an alarm goes off that your coffee is ready, it really isn't. You must either wait another 2-3 minutes for it to drain or remove the filter basket by placing a paper towel underneath. The coffee isn't hot enough when it's ready and if you've waited those 2-3 minutes to drip it will be cooler because the entire top of the carafe is exposed because there isn't a drip hole in the lid so you can use the Carafe need to remove lid. When you're trying to pour that last cup of coffee, you basically have to turn the carafe all the way around to get everything you need. When you are not using the coffee maker. You have to make a decision. Either keep the decanter lid closed or remove the filter basket so it sits snugly on your countertop. On the positive side, the coffee maker doesn't take long to brew and if you close the lid after brewing, the coffee stays warm for a couple of hours.
