Review on Whiteside Router Bits 2013 Bearing by Troy Arnold

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great bits: Milling bits

Over the years I've tried different manufacturers: Freud, Amana, Bosch. and cheap like Sears. While some of the best names make very good beats, I found Whiteside to be the best. Out of the box they are very sharp, have excellent carbide quality (and excellent overall quality), stay sharp longer, don't rattle and burn marks are very rare. Also unlike some bits, the markings (on ½ inch shanks) are easy to read. When they get mixed up (it happens to me all the time, despite my organized storage system), it's very easy to see which bit ¾ vs. 23/32 is even. It's marked PN so you need to find it. Might be a bit more expensive but definitely worth it. If you haven't tried Whiteside yet, I encourage you to check them out and give them a try. You might not notice the difference from one of the top brands, but I bet you'll get hooked as well over time.

Pros
  • Milling bits
Cons
