First of all, anyone who's worked with cars, motorcycles or lawnmowers knows that almost nothing ever goes below 45psi, especially when it's made out of plastic. This leads me to suspect that they made a typo in the instructions. Maybe 14-15 psi or 24-25 psi, that's not much and I'm a big guy known for cracking outlet sidewalls. What about K&N? Great product and works 10 times better than paper filters which makes you wonder why a company that is charging $30,000 for a motorcycle wouldn't spend an extra $30-$60 to sell it to K&N so customers feel that they bought it for a product worth having? The stock HD filter is a joke and the dealer here doesn't even have a line of K&N filters for Road Glide Ultras. Tighten the screws all the way, when you see the plastic start to warp stop twisting! K&N maybe some shims or backing plate will prevent as much cracking.
