My dog has been a gulper from day one. It’s been a balancing act to find some way of slowing her down so she doesn’t up chuck her meals. I’ve tried a few slow feeders to moderate success, but she still is able to eat just a bit too fast. This one has worked great. She’s eaten from it for a month now and has not had a single episode of having her dinner come back up yet. It takes her about a good 10 to 15 minutes to pick it clean. That’s a huge improvement. She wasn’t happy at first with the extra work she had to do to get at her food, but she adjusted quickly. Cleaning with a spray gun in the kitchen sink makes pretty quick work of cleaning, but if you let things sit too long, it could be a bit more effort.
