Review on Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless headphones, black by Andrey Vasilev ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

What was heard in a head-to-head comparative setting: Io-6 Dali B&O H4 H9 H95 Bose 700 B. W. PX7 Sennheiser M3 Sony 1000xm4 So, I had to decide between M3 and 1000MX4, between depth, scope, and pop, all of which were supercharged to the max and expertly executed. The first option stood out to me because of the cosmic "WOW" factor of the synchs. A quick look at the opposition: Dali io-6, acoustic plywood Sand B&O H4 B&O H9 has a nice, standard, and well-balanced sound. The B&O H95 has a clear sound, but unlike the H9, it is not well-balanced. The highs and lows are both overpowering, and the midrange is missing. The Bose 700 is granular, if not ultra-granular, so the music occasionally disintegrates into individual sounds and the scene is already synchic. The Sony 1000xm4 has fantastic pop audio. BW PX7: H9 reception through felt shoe inserts. The Sennheiser M3 is the ultimate headset. There wasn't much of a difference when I listened to them on my phone, but maybe when I attach it to my Denon pma2022ae amplifier I'll be able to pick up on more subtle nuances. I lowered the bass and raised the treble by 0.5 notches in the app's settings, and boosted the midrange by the same amount. These ears suit me just fine.

Pros
  • Wow, just listen to those eardrums! It has crystal-clear sound, what appears to be a subwoofer to bolster the bass, and excellent airflow. It has the same level of punch as high-end wired headphones.
Cons
  • Even tracks with a poor studio recording quality come through clearly. The noise suppression is good enough for music listening, however Sony hasn't released a microphone for more than three people. After exiting a Webex meeting once, my ears became mute, and I had to restart them (until I could replicate the glitch). It's awful to have to wear it around your neck. Automatic pause turned off
