Installs the kit on my white '94 YJ. Ease of installation. Please note that the factory screws that attach the flashlight to the body are too short when you add the EAG protection. You need to buy 6 bolts or screws (3 on each side). I found some stainless steel screws at Home Depot, just search for them: 12-24 x 1 1/4”. Inch screws also work. The headlights need to be separated from the body to install the protection, the left side was bright, the wiring harness is long enough to be disconnected with a connector. The right side is a bit trickier, the harness connector stays in the housing when trying to remove the light. I'm pretty sure you can access the plug through the fender liner. I found it easier to cut the wire harness, attach the EAG protector to the light and use the wire nuts to reconnect the wire harness. I know all engineers roll their eyes when cutting the wiring harness, it was easier for me, the wiring harness doesn't stretch and lives in a dry area. In general I am very satisfied, the guards look really smart, super powerful. Two hits above!
