I ordered this tool kit to loosen the disc brake caliper piston because I was tired of using screwdrivers and pry bars to pull the brake pistons back when replacing the brake pads. My previous method wasn't the most efficient way to get the job done and put too much stress on the pistons and caliper frame. I don't do enough work on the brakes to warrant an air tool for reversing, so I ordered a set of hand tools. Haven't used the tools yet but all the components are well made and it seems to have all the adapters needed to work with most makes of car. An information sheet is included showing which adapter is used with which manufacturer's vehicle. The components are made of steel and are definitely strong enough to get the job done. Each adapter is stamped with a part number to make it easier to select the correct adapter. The tool holder is magnetic so you can attach adapters and stay in place without clamps. The kit includes a molded case that holds the parts fairly well, but as with most things, they still occasionally fall out of place. Each part has its designated place in the case.
