It didn't work until now. We can't get it to play DVD. A window keeps popping up asking you to select a region for the hard drive. It's set to Region 1, which is where we are and the DVD is set up, but it won't play. This will prevent us from changing the region. If we just click to close it and try to play the disc, nothing happens. We tried restarting the computer, but that didn't help. We try to use it on MacBook Air (OS Mojave) and MacBook Pro (OS Catalina). We contacted the company and waited 4 days to get a reply which said "Sorry for the late reply. I will fix the problem now. I'll contact our technical staff." - that was 3 days ago and we haven't gotten a reply. I think we'll just return it and try another product. I'd be happy to change my review if the company either tells me, how to fix the problem or that it is defective and I should exchange it for another one.
