I've had this installed for a few years and since then without a CEL it has damaged my engine. I welded in a broadband O2 sensor and found I got an AFR of 16 (very high) in hills or WOT. I sent back the standard block and got the correct numbers straight away. I started looking for vacuum leaks but found none, after some comparison with the stock and with the AFe style I'm assuming the evaporator adsorber line is after the MAF when it should be before. In other words, it needs to have one of the vacuum line connections before the MAF, not after. I'm assuming air is being let through without considering the airflow through the MAF. (Why it didn't cause the CEL light I don't know, maybe because it only happens at WOT when the engine is in "open cycle" at that point I think) In short, buy this product not, aFe has one that has a proper port and doesn't go bad.
