Arrived broken...resulting in additional installation costs for a workshop that needed to repair a 'brand new' product prior to installation...no time to return and a waste of effort and energy for a replacement purchase very disappointed and frustrated in quality control due of who was responsible before shipment!

This product has known issues with air leaks and check engine light illumination. Did a smoke test and it was leaking so bad the mechanic couldn't see if there were other problems. Attach a suitable teflon tape according to the instructions but nothing changed. I will definitely be returning this product and going to another manufacturer. Airaid seems to be a good alternative.

Applies to 2000 4Runner. Passed without changes. Took 20 minutes total including phone breaks. Has given me about a 2mpg improvement on longer drives. I bought it to improve boat traction. This little truck did pretty well a year ago, but with the filter (which doesn't seem like a big change) it really smoked a 400-mile trip. I love this filter and bought it for my other cars.

Do not buy this, I bought this for a 2002 Toyota Tacoma, the website said it was a product for my truck. I went to install it today and realized it was the wrong part. There's no way I can get it to work. Now the return period has passed and it looks like I'm stuck with this. If you buy this, check it as soon as you receive it to make sure it's the right part. It is not easy to install instructions very difficult to see and understand. They don't make any sense.

I've had this installed for a few years and since then without a CEL it has damaged my engine. I welded in a broadband O2 sensor and found I got an AFR of 16 (very high) in hills or WOT. I sent back the standard block and got the correct numbers straight away. I started looking for vacuum leaks but found none, after some comparison with the stock and with the AFe style I'm assuming the evaporator adsorber line is after the MAF when it should be before.
