Review on MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 205/55 R16 94T winter by Danuta Kasperczyk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

Loose deep snow, rolled slippery snow, ice. These tires don't care. Last year I skated on a friction clutch, I couldn’t go anywhere further than dry asphalt, there were no brakes on the ice at all. Now there is everything and with a margin. 250 studs per wheel, rowing tread, quality soft rubber compound. I go through slippery turns by taxiing the steering wheel with gas, I went into a skid, it doesn’t matter, everything is controlled, everything is predictable. Gets back on track quickly. On the track, everything goes well confidently, does not throw exactly. Any slippery slides pass both at low gas and with the pedal to the floor. The snow digs to the ground, it will drive anywhere (until it sits on its belly) the spikes for 2 seasons are all in place. Tread wear is small. At a speed of 60 km, I ran into a curb, a minimal hernia arose, now it is behind. In general, where there is snow, ice, and other slippery surfaces on this rubber, you can drive faster than others without fear of maneuvering, accelerating, braking. Dry asphalt is tolerable, all the same, I think there are a lot of spikes for asphalt, this is not a plus, it was better on the friction clutch. But I'm not complaining. Definitely I assure you the rubber is 100% worth the money, this is the top among the tops. Hakka, Conti, Michelin, Pirelli any premium tires of the upper segment are about the same. I took and will take only from this sector based on tests of eminent magazines and reviews. Xin 4 is in my opinion the best rubber at the moment for cold, snowy regions. 1000 spikes on 4 wheels! 100% satisfied
