Review on Rösle 9-inch Stainless Steel Garlic / Ginger Press with Scraper for Effective Mincing by Dana Black

I wanted a powerful garlic press. I wasn't disappointed when I opened the package and felt the weight of this product. When I tried to open the press I thought maybe there is a locking mechanism because it seemed quite complicated. I didn't want to use force and break it, so I studied the press for a few seconds before concluding that there was no locking mechanism and it was only meant to open and close. I tried again to open it with more force but it looks like the scraper is not positioned and aligned correctly. When opened, the scraper got stuck, twisting the metal and rivets. It should not be. I'm sure some of them work fine. If so, then I imagine that's a great piece of hardware. The one I bought wasn't and after reading some of the other reviews it seems I'm not alone.
