Rösle 9-inch Stainless Steel Garlic / Ginger Press with Scraper for Effective Mincing Review

Based on the reviews I thought this would be a good choice. But after using it I have to say I wish the tolerances were tighter. Garlic will still ooze down the sides if you squeeze it unpeeled. I often peel the garlic to minimize this. It is designed to last a lifetime and is very easy to clean. It's just not the miracle garlic crush everyone thinks it is.

When I tried to open the press I thought maybe there is a locking mechanism because it seemed quite complicated. Very solid construction and very stylish design. Heavy weight and stainless steel, nothing can rub off or press into your food. Very comfortable in the hand and very easy to use.
