Review on πŸ”ͺ High Carbon Stainless Steel Chef Knife - 8 Inch VG10 Damascus Blade for Precision Cutting - Ergonomic Pakkawood Handle - Perfect Gift in a Stylish Gift Box by Dana Bennett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Immediately sharp, cuts great.

This knife is comfortable to hold. It is well balanced (directly in front of the roller) and cuts cleanly. Its 9-5/8" (24.5 cm) long blade primarily resembles the Japanese kiritsuke (planer category), but has a slight belly along the front quarter (but flatter than a Santoku knife). Western knife or similar The Gyutou (Japanese chef's knife. Knife) does not work well with this knife as it uses a different cutting technique on Kiritsuke, Usuba and Nikiri knives Designed for right-handed users (Left-handed people looking for a Kiritsuke or similar knife should looking for a left bevel knife (a few weeks ago at the time of writing) The handle is comfortable and appears to have a continuous shank, although the blade doesn't have the same appearance as other Damascus steel blades I've seen but like it something to do with the composition of the VG10 blade, but I'm not a knife maker, nor are others With the elegant look of a VG10 Damascus steel blade, this is still a great g looking knife. So far this Kiritsuke seems to be beating its pay grade and this entry-level Damascus knife is well worth paying for. (It deserves a 4.5-star rating, but Revain limits its rating to user reviews only.)
