Review on Superb Wrench SPBW-5: Heavy Duty Wrench for 5.93 inch Inside Diameter Metal Water Filter Housings by Luis Tuazon

I installed the Big Blue filter when replacing my lines many years ago. Since then I've gone through about 4 filter keys. They were plastic. I asked the experts if they could get me one made of metal. You could, but I found this one (the one) on Amazon for half the price. I took a risk I just ran to change the filter and of course broke off the last plastic filter like a branch. I got this and it worked great. Yes, it had plenty of torque, but there were no issues, nor did it damage the filter housing. I understand why some people say it hurts. The filter, like all plastic parts, needs to pop out of the mold, which is why it has a "pull", meaning the bottom end is narrower than the top. Just make sure you get it as high as you can, and there's no free play so no damage. Honestly, this is a tool for life. I will never have to replace it. I highly recommend this key. Note. Yes, I depressurize the top valve before I press the button. It's still tight enough to break the plastic key.
