I almost always stay away from these sharpeners. First, you never know what angle they are. I have one for Victorinox, 20ft, it fits my gear. I keep it in my tackle box in case a sling isn't a good idea for blood and guts. I'll keep my 22.5 pocket knives and some cheaper fillet knives. On a really sharp knife, this sharpener dulls the blade a bit, but I've used it on a dull knife and it's given a nice but less refined edge. I then trimmed it and to my great surprise it came back to a really nice edge. Unlike most of them, carbide rods don't remove a large amount of steel with each hit. Very happy with my purchase. In fact, the angle is 22.5 feet.
