Review on Mount-It! Full Motion TV Wall Mount and Articulating Computer Screen Bracket - Fits 23-42 inch Screens, Up to 66lbs Capacity, VESA 200x200mm Compatible by Matt Heringer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good mount. Depending on the size of the TV, 2-3 people are required to mount the TV to the VESA plate.

This is great. Once installed it works as intended but installation was a challenge. The instructions say that to wall mount you need to hold the TV to mount it on a VESA plate with all that on the wall. Depending on the size of the TV, at least two, or better three, people are required for this. My TV's original screws were too short and two of the holes were countersunk. It comes with a selection of metric screws, which is a good thing. The longer M5 size screws that came in the package worked very well. I still used my drill to tighten them securely, which in my case allowed the bracket to bend a bit in the holes because they were recessed. Although it won't hurt. I didn't have enough help so I installed my 40 inch TV myself by attaching a plate to the back of the TV and holding it while using my wrench. I pre-drilled the holes and inserted the screws. If this TV was larger than 40 inches, I wouldn't be able to balance it on my own. And attaching it to a panel on the back while you hold it is a job for at least 3 people. In general it works fine except for the installation problem. This is a solid piece of steel that should last a while. They cover the holes with plastic to keep it looking nice and tidy. I haven't tried tipping it as it's adjusted correctly, but there is a hex key to adjust and tighten. I find the instructions a bit vague. Until you install the TV, that doesn't mean you need at least two people, which should actually be on this entire Revain list, but are absent.
