Review on Sensorex C110 Checker Simulator Sensor by Dennis Goozmer

Well after 6 months of struggling with the sensor calibration and/or meter calibration of my Pentair Intellichem I called Sensorex and they recommended buying a simulator so I could run the system could test without uncertainty bad probe or water problems. I cannot praise Sensorex Technical Support highly enough. I have now purchased several of their OEM replacement parts just because of the quality of their customer support and technical assistance. The engineer spoke to me on the phone for probably half a minute and I didn't even have probes or Senorex products at the time. These "simulators" should be included with every swimming pool chemical management system sold. For the price, they would be invisible, but invaluable. This helped me determine that I actually had two bad cables (ORP and PH, detected for various reasons and not by Intellichem's internal test) and that the meter's calibration was disabled. I then used the Sensorex PH and ORP calibration solutions and was able to set up the sensors. FINALLY EVERYTHING WORKS! These systems are problematic for private pools, but once calibrated and understood they saved me a lot of time and nerves. Only now the irritation is gone. Anyone who owns an ORP/PH monitoring system will love having it in their maintenance kit. This helps eliminate many variables and greatly speeds up troubleshooting. The companies that sell them add $150 to the price and INCLUDE IT IN THE OWNER'S INSTALLATION!
