Blunt and does not keep sharp. The first came with a nick on the edge, had to test it but just sent it back for a replacement. The replacement comes without a nickname. After 10 uses on folded (political flyer) cardboard over a pine block it took 5-7 hammer hits and the last one still didn't cut. I tried sharpening it with a dremel and it worked better for a while. Still couldn't hold the edge very long. I don't think this metal has been hardened. I would try a different brand if I don't intend to use them too often.
