I've been waiting to review these pots and pans. so I can check them carefully. After reading all the previous reviews I was very skeptical about buying it. "everything sticks", "food sticks all the time", etc. I say yes, sometimes food sticks to these pots and pans, but I've never had a pot or pan that was easier to clean. I just rinse/soak the pan for 5 minutes (usually less time) and the burnt food just wipes away. Wonderful! My previous Teflon-coated aluminum pots and pans had a kind of concentric ring pattern in the pan and food kept burning and sticking to it. It was even more difficult to clean. Plus, these pots and pans are dishwasher safe! My previous pots and pans had hollow handles that didn't fully attach to the pot, so they would fill up with dirty dishwater if placed in the dishwasher incorrectly. So annoying, unsanitary, rude and disappointing. There are no such problems with them. Strong handles, water does not pool. Ideal. One thing struck me when trying to boil water in a large pot. without a lid it seemed to take forever. I think because I'm used to thinning aluminum pots and pans, the heat is transferred faster, so the water heats up faster. So keep that in mind if you try to boil water with it. Use the lid and give it a little more time. I would say the only downside to this set is the shape of the pots and pans. They are conical, so the base is smaller than the rim, which does not create a large contact area with the burner on the stove. In retrospect, I might have been looking for exactly this pot and pan set, just in a straighter, not tapered shape. Otherwise I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Wonderful sentence!
